The # 317-18900 would work well on a trailer, but more than likely your tow dolly uses specific straps with a different hook to secure your vehicle to it. Even if you previously had this style, I know a few do, I can't guarantee that it will fit. The length on the fixed side might be too long/short to keep your vehicle properly secured depending on the attachment points. I recommend using the straps designed for your specific tow dolly. You can use the Brophy Recessed Trailer D-Ring, # RR5K, on your enclosed trailer, however, my main concern would be the ability of the particle board floor to secure or support a heavy load such as a car. The BoatBuckle Pro Series Tie-Down Straps, part # IMF17631, have a maximum tie-down length of 24 inches. The straps can be tightened down to a length less than 24 inches. You should have no problem using them if you have a tie-down length of 22 inches. It will not leave much excess strap.

You shouldn't have a problem using the E-track and E-track wheel tie down, # EM58523, on 8 or 10 inch tires on your classic small vehicles. Since 8 and 10 inches are the wheel sizes the actually diameters of the tires should be about twice as much. The strap can go down very small so smaller tires are not a concern. While you can absolutely drive on the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # E19148 the track is far more likely to last long term if you have it recess-mounted or you have it installed so that the track is just to the side of your SUV's tires. Then for straps you can use the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet # EM59139 which is 16' long x 2" wide and has a working load limit of 1,165 lbs so you will need at least four of these for a SUV that weighs 4,000 lbs.

I do have an option that will allow you to carry a kayak on the roof of your 2017 Chevrolet Cruze 5-door, however, as the 5-door models of the Chevrolet Cruze have only been out for a limited amount of time, none of our manufacturers have designed a roof rack confirmed to fit your vehicle yet.
